Turn off Interior Lighting in a ’03 Civic?

Is it possible to turn off the interior lighting that turns when you open a car door. I hate that in the middle of the night the whole car lights up when a door is opened. I have an ’03 Honda Civic by the way.

Daysi, I’m an Accord person, but Civics used to have a switch on the light itself that selected the mode. Check your light on the interior roof and see if there is a switch on it and move it to OFF.
