The Plug Socket

Sockets & Switches – Switch on to style

I recently changed the electrical socket in my bedroom. Now whenever I move something plugged into it power in the adjacent room flickers, sometimes resulting in full power loss until I jiggle the plug again. My wiring is correct, just the same as how it was previously. What could be the cause of this and is there any way to get it steady again?

It is called an electrical leak. Where the wiring was joined it looks alright but is not tight. that’s why the jiggling makes it come on and off. You will have to inspect the connections you made and reconnet using some good screw in covers for the wiring.
